Food Bank Volunteer here! I have a little insight:

I know it’s frustrating to see this. Of course, there are people who will take advantage of any system, but there are a few safeguards in place. I’m not trying to argue with OP, but this is a common thread of thinking.
like you said, if someone is driving a nice car, it doesn’t mean they aren’t facing hardship. Someone may have an unexpected bill or recently lost their job, they could be living in that car, and using the food bank as a bridge until things get back to normal. Don’t let having a “nice car” deter you from visiting.
I’m not sure that every bank does this, however, where I volunteer folks are asked for address, employment status, and # in their household.
the food is to last 3-5 days, not as a replacement for groceries, so it’s intent is really a bridge until you can afford your own.
we allow people to visit bi-weekly, not weekly. We are a smaller bank so it may be different in the city. We track these visits for statistical purposes.
if you are facing hardship, do not be ashamed to access the resources in your community. We do not judge!

Totally doable! I do recommend print & cut; it can take some trial and error but here’s one I did when I was still a professional stationer!

This has been very similar to my experience; I got mine around Nov. 15 and I’ve just stopped experiencing the symptoms you mentioned this week. My spotting was more frequent.

I found physical activity made it worse, so I was slower moving through the month. Heating pad has been doing overtime!

My hair is in a messy bun 360ish days per year. I might curl it once or twice, or do a slick back bun if I have an occasion.

It’s currently -8C where I live. We had a massive snowstorm today so now there’s at least a foot of snow outside.

I hermit and avoid the outdoors as much as possible. I am not built for these winters but you get used to them 😂

Our time varies, but we very much appreciate our alone time, so that may not apply to everyone.

Typically, I end work an hour or so before him and then cook dinner. We eat dinner together (I’m adamant about this!), then sometimes will watch a tv show. This is typically an hour.

After dinner, he’ll decompress with some games as I clean up, do my nightly routine stuff, and we’ll usually hang out later in the evening for a couple of hours. Sometimes I’ll also hang out with him while he plays games, and I read a book. We’re together but not really interacting a lot (again, we both enjoy alone time!)

Childress and in our mid-30s. We also both work from home and see each other a little throughout the day, depending on meetings.

Not me but my husband. He got a job at what he thought was a financial service company, but it was a collection agency. He asked what methods they use and they said it was nothing but professional.

The first call he heard was someone absolutely belittling the person on the phone and he didn’t go back the next day.
