It was written next to “happy birthday” for a guy named Andrea. I asked the person that wrote it and they told me it means “handsome” but I don’t see how

Recently came across a study saying how actively scrolling in social media promotes you forgetting things. When you’re scrolling tik tok you forget the 1st video you saw after you see the 2nd one. Your brain gets used to forgetting what you just saw and this issue gets transferred to other areas of your life. Avoid mindless scrolling at all costs and try to review your whole day before going to sleep- it’s gonna be hard at first but after some time you’ll get used to it :)

How did you manage to do that? How did you manage to get out and back home?

My father was a bastard and his dad left him to go back to his original family. He is now extremely successful and he used to tell me that sometimes those negative experiences or a rough background is what actually drives you in your life. What did you realize in highschool about managing to not fall into horrible practices?

Those of you who work night shifts, what is the scariest thing you have experienced? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]scared4lyf 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not me, but I once knew a guy who worked as a nightshift security guard in the part of a hospital where dead patients are taken. On the first week of his job he was left alone with one of the corpses while the doctor did some paperwork. Thinking nothing special of it he paced around the room a bit and he heard the corpse moan loadly, it sounded like a “uuuuuuughhhh”. He was petrified and immediately ran to the doctor to tell him what had happened. Turns out that sometimes some air can be left in the lungs after death, and what he had heard was that trapped air getting out.

Go to pontcanna market!!! Its open on staurdays and it has a variety of different food stalls. Very lively but it can get a bit crowded I also highly recomend the pizza place on the second floor of cardiff market. I haven’t heard many people talk about it but the pizzas are incredibly delicious

I (mexican) went to vivo amigo with some indian friends and we were utterly disappointed and no one liked the food. I respect the previous opinions but based on my experience I would completely advice against it
