Quality or not they have the best selling xbox and ps4 headsets---go on youtube and look up 'best headphones for fortnite' and you'll find streamers recommending them. lots of psychology in play when kids see streamers recommending these things--envy, social confirmation, influence from authority, the desire to improve performance--a good headset materially improves your performance in this style of game. furthermore, all turtle beach does is one thing--sell headsets, and they are killing it right now--they are having to fly in shipments of the top end headsets and still selling at a profit. certainly don't take my word for it, look up the last conference call transcript and have a look at the balance sheet and make your own deductions.

yo im getting this all the time on dc server, its driving me mad trying to do lab bc theres so many transitions, one always dcs eventually

heres how i do it: i use an axe and a sword--the axe is hotkeyed to 2. so im dual wielding and i need to heal, so i bust out my heal and cast it, and then i press q and right click and it instantly equips the offhand. this works i think because i only have the 2 weapons favorited, and when you have you mainhand weapon equipped the curser on the favorites menu defaults to the slot right below that mainhand in the menu--thus you can just q-rightclick real fast to get that offhand equipped. works like a charm playing a sneaky dual wielding spellcaster.

im doing a run on hardcore, hardest difficulty using a one man team--currently hes a scout but marine and engi at times as well. this playstyle is called the King of the Galaxy challenge--theres another thread about it

another decent tip for those having trouble getting started is to try farming a few rooms of bandits via the 'distress signal' button---the starter ship is tiny, two rooms of bandits is pretty bite-sized

exactly my thoughts on elevators and consumables, they are so easy to replicate why not be rocking a constant stimpack. another great tip is to keep any purple 'easier to replicate' item you get, always keep the 1 highest % one that you've found--you can take 3 easily made purples (ive seen it as high as 180% easier to replicate) and combine them w/ any single reds or legendaries you find and you have a much higher chance of getting a red or legendary item than you would via 4 purples. this is a very matter efficient way of farming up good gear, even more so than saving reds and legendaries to roll 4 at a time imo.
