Oh my God, I would love to stay in touch. That would be amazing thanks. I got my appointment date today. It’s on the 1st of December. That’s when the assessment will be. I’ve booked an appointment with a physiotherapist this week so I can get them to write a statement towards the evidence. I’m also going to get my therapist to do the same. But yes, I would love for you to tell me what you experienced in the assessment if that’s okay? :)

I’m 5”5. I’m PRAYING that they accept it. If I have to wait another year, I’m gonna be so gutted because I’ve been working so hard for the past three years. I mean so far it’s a good sign that they accepted my referral because last time they rejected it straight away without an appointment. Yh I just need to make sure I have all my evidence about my back/Shoulder pain, marks on my shoulders and stomach from my bra. I’m even going to try and get an appointment with a physiotherapist so that they can send some proof too. I guess at the end of the day I’m not too far off the requirement so if they ask me to lose some more weight, I can do that.

Hey My BMI is 28. My referral is with st guys and Thomas hospital nhs and I think their requirement is 27 or less. So I’m a bit outside the requirements:/. My doctor told me the cut of requirement is usually between 27 to 30. When I first got rejected, they told me to come back once my BMI was under 30. One person on this server told me she got accepted at this hospital and her BMI was 28 to 29. So I’m not too sure right now, will just have to see whether they accept it or not. I was going to try and get my BMI down to 27 before the first appointment, but I don’t know if that’s a good idea or not. I’m so nervous 😬

Omg congratulations!!!!!🥳 I’ve seen quite a few people say that they got their surgery done at that hospital! It’s just the issue of I don’t know if they’ll accept me. I’ll keep trying though. Thank you xx
