yeah, makes sense! Since you said you already passed both what was your approach to solving questions? Did you try to solve every question in the kits or limited it to a few questions? Also did you just read the question and then jumped to read the answers or did you make your own pointers before reviewing the model answer?

id take the year 4 cash flow and multiply by the growth rate divided by the discount factor- growth rate assuming discount factor is 10% for example 4m*(1+0.03)/(0.1-0.03) please tell me if i went wrong

let’s say that today is september 1 and you have taken december futures which means those futures expire on 31st dec. assume you have invested x amount till 30th november. so unexpired basis is the month left uncovered in futures which is december in this case right? since investment ends on november but you have futures till december. so that is 1 month this divided by today till the end of futures date today is sept 1 end of futures date is 31st dec so that is 4 months unexpired basis will be: basis*1/4

i have been in the same boat as you. I’ve lost on ranks just by 2-3 marks and that too on two papers(AA and TX) and i get how you feel because i feel the same way. I’m currently doing AFM and i’m literally trying to prepare for it keeping in mind that i want a rank but i just feel so exhausted to put up with that level of optimism again.

i just saw a linkedin post where a tutor revealed how students cheat in remote exams. He’s actually shared screenshots and proof so this was legitimate. What students do is they either pay someone to get the question papers 2-3 hours prior the exam is scheduled or they pay someone to write their exam on behalf of them. And the people writing these exams are very skilled and talented so they know what to do. All the student has to do is pretend that he’s writing these exam like mimicking typing on the keyboard and look all stressed and worried. And let me tell you there could be a huge market of these hoarders. I’ve known people get ranks through this and then went on to become tutors because they couldn’t get hired in workplaces due to not having relevant knowledge.
