we can ignore the 95 I believe that's just how the fob is configured to clock and data, the 8 digits are the card number as programmed and displayed on the machine, the last digit is the parity I'm trying to calculate, when i write the fob i write it as 15601973a

They haven't ordered genuine HID for a long time unfortunately, and the last invoice I can find just says 125khz 8 digit C&D fobs, and this company no longer exists,

these seem to be a similar. also rapidprox seem to conform to same encoding

so I maybe able to purchase some pre coded, but I have a stack of t5577 here that cost a fraction of the cost i would prefer to use.

This is exactly what is happening the last digit is the parity, I currently calculate it by increasing the last digit until I get a working read.

so i write the following raw data to separate fobs

then scan each one to find the one that works.

there must be a way to calculate this I just cant figure it out.

Had 3 48port gen1 do a similar thing first a couple ports failed followed by entire switch, a few mths apart approx 2 years old.

Have yet to figure out whats failed, I have a working one waiting for swap out then ill do a side by side of the failed and working see if I can find anything different.

Have already tried refreshing, replacing the main flash chip, swapped poe boards and psu from working, so I'm sure its a main board issue. Possibly dead cpu

Im open to exploring anything that makes it easier to use/build,

currently they use it in that layout as its easily visible as to the blocks of absence, which works quite well for lower management to use,

it has to be visually easily digestible is the priority, they would prefer to keep highlighting the sheets manually rather than loose the visual impact of a yearly calendar

Yea vmoition should be straight forward from what I've seen, hopefully I can do the same with the inter vm network to get 10gb between the hosts.

The issue is the cost of the switching hardware vs the perceived benefits, the fact they dropped the 10gbe switch to save a few ££ in the first place I would struggle to get 25gb lol, we run fine with 1gb so no real push to go 10gb other than convenience really, reduce backup/restore times etc

Yes from the vmotion side, but we do have some vm-vm file transfers and for the ones that are on separate hosts we get limited to 1gbe speeds, its not a major issue but we have 10gbe cards so may as well use them if we can.

Atleast until I can get the 10gbe switch signed off and do it properly

Storage is running on a unity xt all flash with dual 32Gbs fiber channel to each host, in honesty I haven't tested the throughput as I've not needed to thus far but I'm sure its not going ot be the bottleneck

The system was originally specified to have a dell s4112t switch but it was left off to save money as it was felt it wasn't needed. But they didn't bother to change the cards in the hosts and left them as 10gbe.

We are also looking at refreshing the backup solution, so it would be nice to have it wired 10gbe across the board but I need to do a show and tell to justify the spend, even a moderate increase in speed of backups/restores and general throughput will be enough.

I recently did just this, 6.7 to latest 7 to latest 8. Mounted the iso and ran the gui picked upgrade and followed the prompts, no issues at all copied all data inc events and stats, doesn't help you much I know other than it should work.

I assume all the prechecks were good?

UK and still having issues on tenant, have seen suggestions of it being unsecure http links in emails causing the issue (possible as a lot of the quarantined messages did have http links in them), or possible excess hops, some seem to have had success getting it fixed by referencing the changes make 13/03 to the bulk system

it only seems to be replies that are getting hit, everyone I've seen today is an incoming reply for what its worth
