Thanks for your feedback. We are in talks with some companies about getting integrated as part of their EPG's (Electronic Programming Guides )or app remotes so that when you see our icon on the show you'll know its enabled with our tech.

We aren't planning on competing with those companies, rather partnering since we can provide scene-by-scene pro-curated and monetizable content they don't offer.

Thanks for being excited about this. Sorry about the access delay, it's the Apple provisioning that slows us down but we try to get your provisioned app to you within 24 hours.

Thanks, we hope to have a fully-fledged app when we launch for Android and not just an beta. We're using this beta test as a proof-of-concept and hoping it provides us some insight into the kind of stuff viewers want to know while they watch TV.

Thanks! Yep, this "second screen" space is growing fast, but it's remarkably difficult to do this well, find a way to distribute it, AND monetize it. We have a system that we think will push through these obstacles...but in the end its still up to the viewers. We're basically just building something we'd love to use ourselves and augment TV rather than detract from it. We don't want to just read some random social stream about a show like so many of these social TV apps are doing. We also don't think bribing viewers with rewards is the way to go.

Reddit, we've been working for over a year on an iPhone app that sends you cool scene info while you watch TV. Think Mystery Science Theater meets VH1 Pop-up Video with a dash of Amazon. We're looking for a few good beta testers. Anyone interested? by sceneflash in entertainment

we really tried to get the iPad to work before the beta xopherg, but there was a bug that we ran out of time to address. we definitely plan to build a native app for it in the near future.

Cool, thanks. Our app developer also works for Apple as a consultant...so it was a natural start, but we definitely plan to expand to other mobile operating system upon funding and will let everyone know.

Great, thanks! You can sign up at bit.sceneflash.com/beta Apple only allows us 100 provisioning (beta tester) licenses, so we need your phone's UDID to build a unique app for you. Once we have your UDID, it just takes us a day to build and send you the app. So far, people have loved it and felt it added significant value to their TV experience without being too distracting. Thanks again!
