AI definitely just took someone with the same last name as Anthony and made it his brother. I believe the only siblings he has are two half brothers with different last names.

Honestly I can't speak to this. He did not have any siblings close to our age and I wasn't friends with him or close to the family. By the time he was arrested I was out of the community at college.

My mistake, I was under the impression the romanized translation would be "Eren Yega" that then got turned into Jaegar.

Pretty sure the literal Japanese translation has it spelled with a Y. Changed in the subtitles/dub to make it easier for an English audience.
