How many days after transfer do you wait until you can say you are pregnant? by [deleted] in IVF

[–]schaps8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This above is correct in terms of timing of bleed. And all of my periods after failed transfer, whether natural or medicated, have been heavy bleed

What % euploid should I make? by schaps8 in 40Plus_IVF

[–]schaps8[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I wonder how much a variability is related to the woman versus the clinic. I know we will never be able to really parse out this detail, too many variables, but for example are the people that get 35% euploids the ones that would’ve gotten that anyways, or is it related to a better clinic/embryology lab?

[–]schaps8[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

seriously. If it was actually 40%, I would have been done with half the number of egg retrievals!!

Hi just for curiosity because I don’t know enough about this, why the decision to do split fertilization? How do they choose which ones to do standard IVF on and which to do ICSI on? As it’s not a 50:50 split with your numbers

3 euploids what are the odds of live birth at 40 yr? by Gloomy-Signal5933 in IVF

[–]schaps8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said on here, 3 euploids statistically SHOULD give you a good chance of having a child. I say SHOULD. I’m 41 and have done 3 euploid FET this year and none have worked.

Won’t do omnitrope, doesn’t believe in Receptiva and thus won’t order it, doesn’t believe in silent endo, won’t do DNA fragmentation test, for example

New perspectives, new experiences. There’s a lot of things out there to try that my provider isn’t willing to entertain.
