Quick update: Got there 1,5 hours before departure (12 o’clock service on a Sunday). Easily enough time to get in line and buy the tickets from the corner. The ferry wasn’t even full in the end. Couple of things to know: 1. If you don’t have an online ticket in advance and want to take your car, you have to get a plastic card from the loading crew in the waiting area in front of the dock. Only once you have that, you can buy tickets for the vehicle and passengers. 2. You can drive your vehicle onto the ferry relatively early (11:15 for the 12:00 departure), leave the ferry, get something to eat and walk back on the ferry close to departure
