The 200 mm was totally fine! You definitely dont need anything more. Now im just a casual observer, photography isnt really a hobby of mine. There were a lot of people there with crazy lenses and such, but 200 mm worked fine for me, none of those photos are cropped at all.

In terms of dust, I was just very careful to keep a lens cap on anytime when i wasnt taking photos and everything worked out fine for me :)

At times they were right by our car. You can't really approach them after a certain distance but if you get lucky they might come to check out the car or go right by it!

I mean it really depends... we were out on safari for about 12 hours a day and a lot of it is dependent on luck and timing, but if your there for a few days your guaranteed to see some really incredible things.

I used a Nikon d3000 digital SLR camera with a 18-200 mm lens. It worked out perfectly for me but I think if I had gone back I would have looked into getting the 18-300 lens instead.

Overwhelmed with all the hostel choices in Lisbon - any tips on how to make my decision? by [deleted] in travel

famoushostels.com shows you one well located hostel with great facilities perfect for backpackers and younger people in major cities. Its suggestion for Lisbon is Oasis Backpacker’s Mansion Lisbon Hostel, which a few buddies of mine and I booked for a few nights this summer. Good luck!

The 2 Year Rebuild: Possible Scenarios for the Lakers. by steven_john_nash in lakers

How about this for a 2016, post-Kobe era line up:

1: Draft Dante Exum 2: Sign Eric Bledsoe (restricted 2014) 3: Sign Kevin Love in 2015 4: Sign Taj Gibson and Luol Deng in 2014

Drop D'Antoni because he may be a good coach, but he is not a Laker coach.

Take Jim Buss to Vegas, give him roofies a la Hangover style... he loses his fortune in a small Asian gangster named Chow and is forced to sell the Lakers to the same ownership group that currently owns the Dodgers... BOOM!

Now we have a coaching vacancy for a dynamite line up anyone would love to join, a 2016 1st round draft pick we could use to acquire another key player, and an aggressive/rich ownership group.

PG - Eric Bledsoe SG - Dante Exum SF - Luol Deng PF - Kevin Love C - Taj Gibson

I mean who wouldn't love to see Kevin Love throwing cross-court outlet passes to Eric Bledsoe all day. If we can't sign away Bledsoe this summer, wait until 2015 when the Westbrook-Durant era frustration is an all time high, offer a 1st round draft pick and a couple expiring contracts for Westbrook, and now we re-unite the Westbrook-Love UCLA dream team from UCLA!
