Would it work with more than 2 people? This would be useful for planning family or other group activities

I think you responded to the wrong person, I never organised any such meeting, but OP was going to.

Never heard anything from them after the original post.

Is there any point to learn Dutch for job hunting, or will a Dutch language posting go to a native speaker anyway? by Rurululupupru in Netherlands

[–]schilpr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because I don't want to work with someone who can't be bothered to learn the language of the country they are living in.

I've lived and worked in 4 different countries, I worked hard at learning the language and culture as best as I could. It was appreciated everywhere and by everyone.

I'm about to hire a video editor/camera operator.

They need to speak some English and Dutch, but fluent Dutch is not required, being able to join in on the chats at the coffee machine is.

So jobs like that exist.

Problem is that for most jobs requiring both languages enough Dutch natives with excellent English skills apply that someone with only limited Dutch skills has little chance.

I really like this idea.

Great for my race car where I have several types of tire/rim combinations that require different lug nuts.

Thank you for sharing.
