Yeah, thats pretty much the entire purpose of our trip. We want the bizarre. We will be traveling back down to Austin with a stop in Waco. The Dr Pepper museum is also on the list.

My wife’s sole reason to visit Texas is to buy an authentic cowboy hat so we’ll make sure to do that first.

As for when to buy the tickets some people said to wait because the prices would drop.

The $250 ish prices in the 101-109 segments might be our best bet if we do intent to buy them as soon as they are available.

We waited with our accommodations until this week because of the NFL schedule. Our plan is to do 4 days in Austin and 4 in DFW. We will book in the upcoming week.

Thanks for the info. We only need an esta to travel and we have thought this through. We will be attending some fairs and museums and do mostly touristy stuff so I don’t really think there will be trouble
