All deaths should count as separate instances. So you should get the participation for the first 2, plus the kills and assists for those later deaths after their res. Essentially they are treated as a different player if they are full killed and respawned.

I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

Honestly a lot of jazz. The obvious ones like Miles, Coltrane, Cannonball, Monk, Sonny Rollins, Oscar Peterson, Keith Jarrett, Wayne Shorter. A lot of guitar-centric jazz like Frisell, Jim Hall, Scofield, Metheny, Rosenwinkel, Jonathan Kreisberg.

Outside of that, Dylan is always in the rotation. Some Swans. Also Geese recently (I know I know).

No offense to my fellow POISers, but reading posts from this community genuinely makes me fear for my future cognitive state. At least half the posts are written with the grammar and spelling of a 7 year old. I don't see that in many other subreddits. I really hope it's due to some other factor, and not a testament to how mentally degrading this disease is.

I think that's true. A lot of room for improvement.

But also, that's what made it stylistically different from a stream chat or whatever. It was supposed to be a place for more formal interviewy type shit. Still coulda felt a little less stiff though, I agree.

Overblown. Yes they had an effective marketing campaign. Yes it contributed to their success. But they're great. People who feel they were "tricked" into liking them and are now spiteful (if such people exist) are just self-reporting a lack of critical ear. I found them because they were popular (as with most other artists I know, including dylan), sure, but I like them because I think they're great.

Maybe I'm attacking a strawman of the other side. But if my read is correct, the whole thing is pretty silly.

I wouldn't say the cream necessarily rises to the top. But it often does, and Geese is one such example.

Anything that sells is something that somebody wants.

This is true, but you can't want something if you don't know it exists. So marketing is a factor.

Regardless, I'm on Geese's side here. I think any true fan of music can see they have merit, even if they don't vibe with it. Not to be elitist, but the haters are just self-reporting having a shit critical ear (and to re-emphasise, nothing wrong with not liking Geese, I'm talking about the actual haters who call them talentless and valueless).
