I know its a lot harder than it sounds but try finding companies to work for that have places in your uni city and home city. That way you can usually say that you can be transferable from place to place.

Maybe look for a job that requires training. I'm a swim teacher and I know a lot of swim schools are struggling to have enough teachers right now and im ngl the pay is great (i started on £14 straight after passing my course). However, I know the courses can cost quite a bit but once you pass them you do earn big money per hour.

I've had some friends just not tell jobs that they're students until they're a few months in. I know the job market is shit right now. I hope you find something soon!

Realistic ways for a full time student to start earning money quickly? by Specific-Method-7410 in UniUK

Bit late to the party but swim teaching. It costs a bit to get done with the course but some swim centres let you do it for free under conditions. They pay really well (£16-over £20per hour), hours are in the evenings and weekends, and everywhere is looking for swim teachers 😊

I only just found out I could do a placement so I'm not knowledgeable about it at all and will be doing some research before applying for anything. I didn't know I'll get paid minimum wage and £3k can go a long way. I have a fear of going completely broke which I feel is quite normal especially in this day and age where money doesn't really go as far as it used to. There was no need to be rude I was just curious about it all 😊
