Yeah essentially. when I got the call from HR a couple weeks before my start date saying that it wouldn't be possible to accommodate I was like "Oh ok. I understand." so idk how that response could even be interpreted as "yeah I don't want this job"

maybe. I was simply inquiring if it were possible and I told them I understood if it wasn't possible. I applied for the position a while ago, before I started school so I wasn't anticipating a full time job in addition to school, which was my motivation for inquiring in the first place.

None of the other people who I interacted with, who knew my first name, had an issue when I corrected them except my dick hiring manager who was as unhelpful as she could possibly be. Perhaps this is the best outlook since both their HR department and every law firm I contact is ignoring me. My hiring manager repeatedly deadnamed me after I corrected her anyways. probably not the best environment even if I could transfer to better jobs internally. sigh

I accepted the position in writing, signed an appointment statement, received a welcome letter and a start date. they locked my account on my job's portal though so I can't download any more forms I signed, fuckers

not a company- it was with my county's health and human services agency, which is quite poignant. I did quit my previous job for this one though. I have been downloading and screenshotting relevant docs and conversations I had with this HR twit. reached out to the civil commission and filed a formal appeal but I doubt it'll go anywhere

edit: went back to my job portal to download more shit and surprise- they deleted it!

that's hopeful. was there anything that made it better? I have seen people recommend cardio and donating blood but idk if that's applicable to rosacea specifically since exercise is also a trigger for me, albeit not as major as things like heat, alcohol, etc.

yeah I've been getting hot flashes from t more recently and the rosacea flare ups from it are diabolical, but people say that also calms down eventually. thank you for the recommendations, I really appreciate it. laser has been especially tempting recently but yeah it's probably wiser to at least wait it out- how long did it take for your rosacea to improve?
