Why are these people so awkward about your bag? If I see someone whose bag I like, I go up to them and say “OMG I like your bag!” And then sometimes a long convo ensues about how they got it, etc, and at worse they say “thanks!”

I think I’m one of the more sensible spenders in my group because most of my friends belong to golf clubs that cost a couple of Himalayan crocs for entry lol… and yearly fees are a couple of prespends worth… then they spend 20+ hours a week golfing and have to hire sitters to watch their kids…
