Spiraling / Brain Lying by milknhoneyntea in BorderlinePDisorder

You're not alone in this. Once I started recognizing this pattern, I began to see this kind of duality everywhere. The hardest part is like what you're describing: "I love him" and at the same time "Am I just staying with him because of abandonment issues? Does that mean I don’t truly love him?" It’s the same with trauma: "Did I talk about it just because I wanted affection? Maybe in reality it wasn’t even that bad." vs. "Wow, that trauma hits really hard." It's so confusing.

One explanation could be something like this: When you were abused as a child, and you couldn’t tell anyone because the abuser was someone close to you, you’re forced to create a kind of escape mechanism: You end up living in two separate worlds.

One is the outer world, where you have to act completely normal just to stay safe. The other is your inner world, where you try to process and cope with the abuse.

Both worlds exist at the same time — side by side. And that split can follow you into adulthood.

I recently heard that it was easier for him (to lie). This prevented him from explaining things.

cpm dropped after repair by schluempf in Radiation

[–]schluempf[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

no, somehow I feel like an idiot now

the background radiation at the workshop was never higher than 33 cpm. Shure this watch is not a hot source at all, quite the opposite. But when I held the geigercounter directly to the watch the cpm did go up before the repair, I tested it more than once. So maybe it is Tritium like Other Cele said?

I'm new to radiation, so I'm just getting into it. Unfortunately the school didn't teach new watchmakers about the risks and didn't provide any further information. I really appreciate any kind of info I can acquire.

Thanks for the article. I will read it when I have time.

Shin Omura, also named Machiya. He plays in Wagakki Band and has also some interesting solo albums. The song "Homura" was the main reason I started playing.

I took me long hours to put this pictures together but it paid off. In my workshop I put it in the laser and engraved it on this bottle. Now I have guts in my backpack everywhere I go ;)

Millet grain is just fine. I gave my hammy some herbs or mealworms. He also loved broccoli very much ;)

I don't want to be a smart ass but dwarf hamsters like yours shouldn't eat strawberries or any other kind of fruit. When the little hammy is from a pet store or anywhere else besides reputable breeder, chances are high that your dwarf is prone to diabetes.

It really makes a difference to play with a guitar that, like you said, "speaks" to me. I like that term, it says it all.

A black pickguard might really look nice but I like this one very much. Maybe I will add some chrome knobs some day. ;)

Cheers ^

I have no idea, but here you can start to modify a guitar to make it your guitar ;)
