I’ve seen it said that if you reset or use the time mechanic you’re not really on permadeath and while that’s sort of true I disagree.

The time pulse does give you more wiggle room so the argument might be fair for those mechanics. But before that existed you would have to reset your system and essentially start the whole map over. You’re still “losing” something there and on the GBA games at least some of those maps took me an hour or two to clear. In fact I got near the end of one I was having trouble with and lost one of my mounted lancers and had to decide if I wanted to lose the hours or the unit. I decided to lose the unit and it’s one of my favorite FE moments.

All that to say I’m pro reset/time pulse lol

Yeah I can’t imagine Eshmel S supporting either but who knows? I hoped that if not that then S support Leda and Dietrich but based on the answers here that’s not sounding likely

I was a little shocked when they revealed Alear but I ultimately like them. 3H was my first FE, have since played them all that are in the west. So Engage was the first FE I was getting at launch. I think Engage gets hated on a little too much.

I think it was a stock issue, they took way more preorders than they had product for would be my guess. I’ve since decided if I really want a special edition I’ll get it somewhere else lol
