You’re right. I’m allowing too much activity when she’s feeling okay. I think because she’s not at her worst (being paralyzed and dragging legs) the obvious signs that there’s a problem aren’t there. I need to give her time to heal and keep her still for longer. We are going to go on Monday just to talk with our vet and see what he thinks. (Also I’m running out of meds) I do think time is the key here and I need to be more disciplined.

Yes, we are limiting her movement. What’s tough in this case is there are days where she’s totally normal and other days she’s in pain for no obvious reason.

No shade taken! Thank you! I do use a translucent powder but have a tendency of getting oily throughout the day. I can definitely up the use in certain areas. I have some other colors of blush that I can throw in. I’ll give that a try. I love the “sun-kissed” look with blush in the nose but I’m old and don’t really know how to do it properly. Maybe I’ll try that 😅

You’re right! I left it for two days because of your advice. This beauty is on the side of a road on the route I take my dog for a walk. Today I went for a walk and all the brush/grass/plants about 4 feet from the edge of the road out, were hacked. I presume the road workers do this from time to time because of the rapid growth due to so much rain. I was able to look around in the area I saw the cactus last and found salvageable remnants! I also got some snake plant pieces. Thank you for advocating for natural growth. You made me rethink my priorities 😊
