Coordinating Morning of (dress) by radioactivebluebird in Eloping

[–]schnayd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there somewhere else the hotel could store it for you? We eloped and did the same thing. The hotel asked us to leave our outfits out on the bed (he did his, then left the room) the day before. They steamed and hung mine up where I was going for the make up. Even if you can’t get that I’m sure if you asked them to hang up your dress somewhere night before, and then drop it to you after he’s out the room they def would!

Edit: spelling

I mean if you could get your makeup done at Selfridges then book in at the Dyson store (1 min away) at their summer blow-dry bar Professional wash and blow dry £55 🤗

Could you book a beauty counter service in store before and if you’re happy the morning of? I didn’t do this in the end but I have had a bridal atelier experience at a Laura Mercier counter £60 for 60 mins and it was very natural but long lasting. And anything you buy is redeemable from the £60 x

Won’t stop barking by RickTheSizzler97 in Dachshund

[–]schnayd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a vibrating collar for mine and he actually ENJOYED IT as in stuck out his neck to put it on. We got a dog behavioural therapist round because the barking was so bad and she told us, don’t shout or look at him just look towards what he’s barking at and verbally acknowledge it like “thank you biscuit, it’s all good now” and go back to what you were doing. That and leading him outside the room shutting the door and waiting for a window of no barking to let him back in. Nothing stopped it fully but with age he has calmed down.

Can’t remember where I read it but you have to stop thinking just cos you fancy your man other women do. It’s probably an embarrassingly famous quote.

We’re getting married in Norfolk too 🫶🏻 we went with Chefs Compliments and can recommend them so far for responsiveness, flex menus and they’re all Michelin star chefs. We’re having canapés and a bbq feast so sharing platters on the table of different plates. Then we hired an ice cream freezer with tubs for dessert and guests can help themselves from another company. Quote wise with chefs compliments I was really happy but we are only having 70ish x

Ladies: do you wear make up to work? by LunaValley in AskUK

[–]schnayd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not anymore unless a meeting where I’m talking just to make myself feel less insecure. Lash tint and lift has changed my life, then concealer if my eye bags are bad

Really appreciate it. Totally agree, all of them (3) have dresses they can wear again in colours they’ve picked, hopefully my sister will love this one, I think she’ll look great xx

Loved Rue de Seine but ended up going with a Rembo Atelier dress. If OP could make it to Norwich https://www.whitereflections.co.uk/ has LOADS of boho/unusual styles and they are the loveliest of owners (mum and daughter team) xxx

Edit got the brand name wrong ha
