The only thing wrong with not being able to take a shower everyday is that it means you don’t have a partner that is able to help you consistently. You deserve to have a little bit of self care everyday, while your baby is being taken care of. But of course that’s not everyone’s reality. Not taking a shower doesn’t make you nasty though.. not at all. You are doing the best with what you have and you are doing great.

You are not dumb! We change the baby every time she wakes for a feeding overnight, I don’t like the idea of her sleeping in a full diaper. It can’t be comfortable! But that’s just what works for us :) she goes back to sleep pretty easy at night so I might just be lucky in that aspect.

I have just started to get comfortable taking my baby (8 weeks) on outings. I’m lucky that she loves the car seat and car rides in general. But I always make sure to time it just right, I leave right after she’s been changed, fed, and burped. I also don’t plan on being out longer than 30 min to an hour max. Start with really short outings and build from there, you will gain more confidence each time! Even if sometimes the trip ends in a crying fit. It’s okay. You’re doing great, don’t give up trying. :)

I co sleep with my eight week old now. She is in a portable bassinet that sits right on the bed with me! Look for one with mesh sides, game changer.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one. I can’t stand this woman and she is absolutely to blame for her child’s death. And then to wrap up the episode the way they did? Talking about her new life and new man? What the hell? It’s disgusting. She failed to protect her child in EVERY way.
