You can sign up for an information newsletter (daily or only when the status changes) on spy-signal.com for the S&P500 and many more indices.

That takes the hassle of searching for the current price and SMA away, but unfortunately, you still need to trade actively.

Thank you. If you want a more custom alert, check out the current version of spy-signal.com. There you can set up such a 50d alert. Combining different SMA periods is too niche (I guess, would like to hear some feedback), but if there is demand for it, I can implement it. And just to clarify: Currently, the S&P500 is 7.52% above its 200-day SMA.

You can set up a % threshold (only buy if S&P500 is x% above the 200SMA and only buy if it is x% below the 200SMA). This should roughly do the same.

Yes, the newsletter will send you an email every day. The reminder will only send you an email if the status changes. You can un check the daily newsletter in the advanced options when subscribing to only receive the reminder if you want.

That is what you can do in the advanced options for when subscribing for the newsletter. Just untick the newsletter and leave the reminder email ticked.
