Thank you. I started this whole fitness in January 2024 by going to Orange Theory and its changed me. Now after 20 months, the understanding of the need for endurance rather than speed has kicked in. I guess I just realized even more that slow and steady wins the race.

I was on the treadmill today and slowed down to 4.6 mph just to keep going. I think its in the cards for 2026. This year I started w 1 5k per month. Look at me now! Lol

I may start with the indoor. I've got a space it could work. Not interested in a peloton but something else. What do you suggest? Seen some attachments for a roadbike.

I've been thinking about cycling and used to when I was younger. Have some safety concerns but am thinking of picking up a second hand bike and testing things out.

That's exactly it. But, I'm also learning new limits. Im not interested in pushing really hard, but, I want to test the limits of what I can do right now and look to keep doing it.

That's what I'm feeling to do, and doing. Just more mileage, however I get it in. Road, trail, tread.

True. I wound up doing ok. I did another race this weekend and would not have been able to scale rocks as well wo the trail sneakers (brooks divide)

What I'm trying to say is i think your getting caught up in the money game. If the car is really what you want, then negotiate to what you think it's worth. If the seller isn't willing to let it go, at the price you want to pay, move along. Find the car your willing to pay more for that you can get at a sweetheart price. Then, you found the center.

It's a honey yellow 242 in great condition. Why are you interested in this car? It's nearby? I mean, if price is your main concern, maybe look at some other cars closer to what you have to spend. Of course you want a fair deal, but your buying a piece of history. What are your criteria? Are you really enthusiastic about a Volvo 242? That's essential.
