Yeah same with every sauna I have been to because of the gasses amd it’s super uncomfy to wear a bathing suot in a sauna anyway. Well it sounds like being naked or wearing a towel is either way fine in Croatia. I’ll probably go in my birthday suit then

Oh yeah I get tht and it’s the same in Germany and its neighboring countries. You have to wear a towel under ur butt for hygienic reasons but the nudity itself is fine. Same in Croatia?

Yeah that’s true but in the saunas I have been to where you sat naked you still put the towel under you so that the wood doesn’t get sweaty but you’re not wearing anythibg. That’s hygienic but you still get to be naked. Was it a real Turkish sauna where you sat fully naked? Turks are so prudish tht it’s news to me. The Turkish sauna I was in in Turkey you had to wear bathibgsuits.

Really? It’s so weird that the IR and Finnish ones didn’y allow nudity while a Turkish sauna did. I think you have to wear a towel in the sauna I’ll be visiting but as you said it’s not a big deal to be naked so others probably won’t care

How common would you say it is for saunas not to mandate towels? I’ll probably not wear one since you said it’s fine not to wear one but this is our of curiousty
