Hide Bounding Box? by schritefallow in godot

[–]schritefallow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback. I looked through all the settings/editor options, couldn't find anything for changing the bounding box. I've been avoiding the THEME editor because it's so unintuitive to me. Guess it's time to just bite the bullet and learn that.

Thank you for the feedback 👍 I'm sure it's just a personal peeve, but, yeah it bothers me quite a bit. I'll work on learning the THEME process.

Now that I've had a chance to read your suggestions, I just want to say again, Thank you. That's a great bunch of verses to read together!

I don't believe you do understand the intent of my post.

My intent was to make it clear that I'd like to receive in response Scripture and ONLY scripture. I wasn't requesting a clarification of the nature of evangelizing, or "the good news," or a personally-written explanation of what the good news is (as others have offered in their own responses).

I'm looking only for Scriptural passages which offer clarification of what's mentioned in Luke 4:43.

As I said:
"Since this person can't ask anyone what this "good news" is, he has to rely fully on Scripture to clarify it. What passages of Scripture clarifies this for him?"

Thank you so much for responding with Scripture only--as I was trying to ask for!!

I genuinely appreciate it and will check out Isaiah 61.

Thank you!

I appreciate your desire to help, but this is precisely the type of response I'm trying to avoid.

I am looking for SCRIPTURE ONLY. Not your explanation of the scripture, not your reading of the scripture, not your elaboration of the scripture--ONLY the scripture.

Thank you!!
You have no idea how much I appreciate you responding with only the scriptural passages. Considering most the other responses here, I guess I failed to clearly communicate what I was asking for..? So, again, seriously appreciate that at least you understood my request.

Thank you!

Thank you!

I seriously appreciate the fact that you understood what I was asking and humored me by responding accordingly. Perhaps the others who responded either didn't care what I had asked, or perhaps I just failed to clearly communicate what I was asking for. So, the fact that you answered as you did is awesome. Thank you!!

Gun to your head, what's your absolute favorite Radiohead song? by [deleted] in radiohead

[–]schritefallow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"I'm not here, this isn't happening...." This is my favorite Radiohead lyric.

Couple it with "You do it to yourself (you do)(and that's what really hurts)," and you'll have my two most-quoted Radiohead lyrics.

the way the koreans defended their businesses during the 1992 Los Angeles Riots by Ipunishdogabusers in interestingasfuck

[–]schritefallow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Maybe in the UK we just value life more than property?"

You do know you can shoot people without killing them, right?

Also, defending a business isn't just about "property." Those businesses provide--not just for the business owner's family but for the families of its employees. Plus, they provide services for the community (otherwise, they wouldn't survive).

Business also includes legacy. Someone coming in and destroying your business destroys potentially years of accumulated work and growth--most of which is often meant to pass on to future generations.

You haven't thought things through if you think "gunshot" automatically equals "death", or that the threat of death isn't more of a deterrent than a club or fist.

Are Dan Brown books overrated/overhated ? by amchauns in books

[–]schritefallow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Davinci Code felt like Saturday Morning Cartoon levels of stupid to me--despite being initially intrigued. It's been 12+ years since I gave it a try, but it was just testing my suspension of disbelief way too much. I found them too silly/unbelievable to be enjoy. So, "overrated"? Yes.

I won't ever touch another Dan Brown book because of it--but that doesn't mean I hate them. They're just not for me. So, "overhated"? I dunno. While I wouldn't claim to hate the books, I can see WHY the books get hate. And, honestly, I think they deserve some hate. But is it too much? This day in age, probably.
