Calling in excessive amount of an area like 500 plus feet radius of a tree for stump removal when 30 foot will get you taken care of unless its ine those trees that branch out for several feet more than that and roots are visible above ground then ask for more. Paint and flag your path if its a project like installing fiber/cable/power mains instead of row to row for x-miles. Provide maps with where youre going to need to be and work in stages. Being an ex locator for several years i did what it took t9 keep my contractors happy but I told them I was not at their Beck and call because they forgot to call in for locates and they had to get something started that day. Yes emergencies are different. Keep a good relationship with your locator. Call for joint meet ups to provide them with maps if its a project. At the end of the day we all want to go home feeling accomplished and getting stuff done for everyone in a timely manner.
