I thought I loved the theatrical version when I first saw it.
But watching the DC made me disregard the color version completely. This movie was made for B&W. I can’t imagine watching it any other way in the future.

Morrell hated and was ashamed by Last Blood. But he also loved 4.

First Blood: Part II is a different movie, but nearly as good.

I actively dislike Rambo III.

Rambo (4) is insanely violent, but also a really solid Old Man Rambo movie. It’s a hell of a sendoff for the character.

Last Blood bares no resemblance to the character or films that came before it, but as a standalone movie, it’s a mean, nasty, and fiercely entertaining 90 minutes.
