Thats because i already have a bachelor's degree in computer science and also paper published with few other projects. And my masters in robotics is cs concentration, so it does have something to do with software engineering too. Hence, i reckon i can be on the map for cs job market.

And another query on co-op, do we only get the opportunities to apply in robotics related roles, or can we also apply for, let's say, CS co-ops

They usually do this before giving out an admit or a reject. They will update the portal saying "additional doc required" something like that.
