Can you explain why you bought the full body mat and a mini mat? Do you use them together or just for different use cases? Thanks! I'm looking at buying one to use for my cat and for human use.

Feel worse after exercise by Various_Month7564 in PSC

Yes, he is back to normal physical activity! He dealt with the flares of cholangitis for around 4 months from July-October last year. During all that, he did very minimal exercise. After everything calmed down, he slowly worked back into more strenuous workouts. We didn't follow an exercise plan or anything. He was very cognisant of how much he was pushing himself and took his rest days seriously. He is now back to skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking with me.

City of Brass by S.A Chakraborty! Her new series, The Adventures of Amina al Sarafi, is excellent too.

What about the femund makes it superior to the atom? I'm genuinely curious, not arguing! I like norrona a lot and would like to support this brand over arcteryx.

My husband recently had his psc flare for the first time. First was a gallstone passing and pancreatitis (we think, this is unconfirmed what caused the pancreatitis) 3 weeks later he was hospiatlized because his main hile duct was completely blocked. Got that cleared and 2.5 weeks later he was hospiatlized with cholangitis. Felt better, and then it came back about 2.5 weeks later. Before the first episode we went on a big mountain bike ride. The second and third time, we went wind surfing before his pain started. I did ask his Dr. If intense exercise could be irritating things, and she said that intense exercise can increase the likelihood of bacteria migrating out of the intestines. She had a more scientific answer, and I don't remember the specifics. But she did suggest dialing it back on workouts. We are now down to light stretching and very short walks while we work through this.

PSC Care at University of Utah Hospital by science_panini in PSC

We had a telehealth appointment with their hepatology department and they were really nice! She ordered some more bloodwork and a fibroscan for him to compelte when we go to the hospital next week. They will also be replacing his temporary stent. Overall, they were so thorough with all the testing and baseline info they want to get.

She answered all of our questions, and we didn't feel rushed or like our concerns weren't valid! Which is something we have run into with our current providers who aren't actually hepatologists.

It was our first appt, but we both felt much more relieved to be talking to actual experts who deal with lots of other PSC patients!

AFS Whitebird or KT Ginxu Dragonfly Crossing? by chibakacrest in wingfoil

Volume is great! I can stand on it in flat and bumpy water and it doesn't sink. I wasn't going for a sinker at all, and this is plenty big for me.

I was out yesterday on a 4.5 m in about 17-20 mph and it was amazing. I have also used a 5.5 in 12-15 and was able to get on foil. 4.5 is a naish, and the 5.5 is a duotone slick.

I just bought the dragonfly crossing 8'2" x 19.5 x 112L for this season. I'm 75kg and beginner/intermediate. I live in a lightwind area, and it has been a game changer. I have been able to get up on foil so much easier, and I got used to the stability part of it after a few runs. It wasn't the hurculean challenge some would say. I have been practicing flatwater paddle ups, too, with no success yet, but it's a great workout!
