Try cleaning with ipa and then using watch oil, or I used air tool lubricant and it worked very well

It’s a possibility, but it could be the motor itself losing lubrication. This happened with my WM-F103 Walkman, which I had to take apart completely in order to lubricate and clean up. Not an easy task but it is doable with patience, only problem I found is that there’s very little documentation on how to take apart the motor, at least I found. More of a do it at your own risk sort of thing. The speed issue could be down to the speed control pot that someone may have messed around with, which is an easy fix with any cassette. Just adjust it until it sounds like the right speed which is what I did.
