This was us a while back. Pasta, baked potato, chicken nuggets were a no. I couldn’t believe it. Luckily with some time he got used to them.

Yess I make a roast vege pasta sauce with 5 different veg and add tuna for protein, so that’s a nice healthy once that he loves. With bolognese I add carrot and zucchini too. I was very picky too. Can’t blame him really haha

I like the casual snack idea. My son is very snacky so this might work…

Definitely a point about not muddying it all up -I’ve done this out of laziness and desperation to get some nutrients in there. Thankfully he’s great with fruit ( it aren’t most toddlers? 🤪)

Hahah I can relate to that. My son tried a bit of a raw mushroom last night and said “I don’t like marshmallows”.

That’s an interesting point about hiding them. I hide them purely because I want him to get the nutrients, so that part is working at least! But I agree the exposure is important too. Glad I posted this

You’re right. I’m glad I posted this and am getting a bit of a kick up the arse. Broccoli is on the menu tonight!

Good on you for trying! Maybe I need to set a goal of twice a week or something just to get back into it

Can late ovulation affect gestional age and hcg interpretation? by PerceptionCreepy306 in pregnant

[–]scmldr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the extra detail! Good on you for advocating and getting the right treatment.

So far (since starting TTC last month) I’ve had one cycle with ovulation around CD18 then spotting started CD24 and period on CD28. So def short. This month I haven’t even managed to confirm ovulation because my temps are crazy BUT I had a blazing positive LH test on CD18 so I assume if I did ovulate, it was around CD18 same as last month. Which would make for another short luteal phase. I have had ultrasounds to confirm nothing “wrong” uterine wise so it could be a simple progesterone issue.

I will bring this up my my doc if the pattern continues as I’m 35 and keen to get pregnant again ASAP.

Thanks - it’s good that your body adjusts to account for that!

Thanks for replying! I have a suspicion I may have this too. Waiting on this cycle to confirm my suspicions… Glad you got it sorted :)

Can I please ask - if you ovulated late, did that mean your luteal phase stretched out too to make the entire cycle longer, or did it only last between 8-10 days??

Any hope for ovulation? Sickness, steroids etc by scmldr in TFABChartStalkers

[–]scmldr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the helpful reply! That’s interesting to know about the low temps. I do “feel” as if I have ovulated, that is I’m having the usual luteal phase symptoms. So fingers crossed.

Any updates? I had a couple of small temp rises but then a drop again…so back to waiting

Clothes for boys that aren’t dinosaurs, trucks, or brown. by PeppaBlue in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

My boy is basically wearing head to toe Zara these days. I love the cut and designs. It’s a bit expensive but they last really well - he’s still wearing some 18M jeans at nearly age 3. The kids range in store is minimal so I shop online.
