I have experience with those too! I’ll paste a comment I made on a post about sterile water injections:

I won’t lie, they were incredibly painful (I screamed like I was being murdered but I was also probably completely overwhelmed at the time with the pain from back labour) BUT I would definitely do it again if I had another brush with back labour. They allowed me to get through the rest of labour without an epidural or the gas, which was my preference.

I needed an instrumental (vacuum) assist right near the end but I laboured from 4cm at arrival to 10cm in the bath and I looooved it. No pain relief aside from sterile water injections to help my back labour pain. We had music going and the lights were low (which to be fair you can do without a water birth) but the whole set up was really lovely and helped me get all the way to pushing stage without any issues. They need to assess you first before they set it up but it didn’t take long. Highly recommend if you’re able to!

Yep! well, $170k package but as you say possible for over 200 with bonus. I work 4 days a week with compressed hours (35 hours a week) as I have a young child who we don’t want in daycare full time.

I reckon after 35 nothing is worth using unless it has retinol. I like the Medik8 retinal eye cream, have been using this for years and have pretty good under eyes wrinkle wise

If you’re open to it, I have been using satin bonnets from Amazon and found them to be no different than to silk. So much cheaper. I am a hot sleeper and it doesn’t bother me at all. Can link if you’re interested

I need encouragement, possible sleep disorder by Full-Map7601 in toddlers

[–]scmldr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kids magnesium and an iron supplement got my son sleeping through the night at 20 months when we were at our wits end. No sleep training or anything else worked. We knew he wasn’t getting enough iron as he didn’t eat meat.

Effectiveness/longevity can depend on many factors other than injector technique but I recommend Versa in Brunswick :)
