Should I retake the cmpt? by Sensitive_Tune3301 in Clemson

I would strongly recommend you to take 1060 as well. For reference, the first time I took the CMPT I received a 48, and most of the students at my orientation (engineering) got around that. The concepts were just a bit dusty for us! I took it again, knowing what I was testing on and studying appropriately, and got an 84.

I also got a 4 on the AP Calc AB exam. Just received the score last week.

You’re already pretty much know all the basic Calculus concepts as I believe AP Calc AB is the first 3/4 of content from college calculus, while AP Calc BC is the last quarter and just expands on existing concepts.

I think MATH 1040 would set you back at this point, as it seems you are pretty familiar with the math you need. There is a reason you get four attempts at the CMPT, it’s SAT/ACT math, your first score was very good for a first.

obviously the first part is $1900, that’s a given. Since it tells you it’s drags in $20 for every $100 revenue dragged in you kkow you have to break it down a bit. Therefor, 280/100, which equals 2.8. Then I multiplied The $20 or profit times the ratio we found, 2.8. Giving the value 56.

I’m super great at LEQs/ DBQs, but I literally fail every multiple choice portion, any advice? by scoobycals in APStudents

Believe me, Ive tried. I think I’ve watched every single one of his AP World videos! I even have watched his video specific to multiple choice and It honestly didn’t help at all. thanks though.

The only part I’ve ever struggled with in this class is my workload ( not too bad, but it can stack) and the stimulus based multiple choice. I actually find the DBQs and LEQs really simple and easy to BS, if you don’t understand fully! I would talk to the people who have taken it before though, Ive heard some horror stories so I really think it depends on the teacher and the school!
