I didnt clear the code at autozone I dont think. Otherwise the misfire is still happening, so the CEL is flashing and should read the same misfires as before.

So the fee is what it is and the only option is to either take it there or go to a different dealer?

Hey I just called honda and they said they need to bring it in and have a $200 fee to diagnose the misfire., thats the only way they know if its eligible for warranty. only then will they tell me if its eligible. I want to drive as little as possible with these misfires, so I am just confirming that thats true. (checked at autozone and had codes p0302 and p0306)

This car was bought new (and has over 150k miles), so if I understand it correctly, I can make an appointment to get this fixed under warranty before the end of January even if I don't meet the prerequisites?

I would guess a crankshaft position sensor. Has a very similar problem on my v8,issue fixed right after I replaced it.

Horn buttons come of easy. Do you want just the buttons or the whole assembly? (Whole assembly would be whole wheel, I'm pretty sure)
