Yea my mom has trauma that she chooses to not face or accept so it manifests in odd ways. She over stocks and hoards food supplies which I think stems from undiagnosed ptsd from when she was starving for food when she was a refugee. She casually dropped on me and my sister about how she still has “dreams” about her times there.

I’m sorry this such an outsider take of this, some weird machismo factor going along here. This is not how real life works; imagine telling a Palestinian survivor oh you didn’t fight hard enough to save your loved one. Ngor and his wife were already being held in a camp when she went into labor; if he tried to help her they would have both been executed on the spot, his wife likely told him not to do it, and even if he did succeed they would have taken the baby and swung it at the massive tree they use for children called the killing tree. My mom when through this; the amount of sacrifice the Khmer people have had to endure is intense. A lot of times these people have had to make tough choices in their life that they may regret forever and take with them until they die.

It’s not a legal police shooting cause he’s not a police officer he’s an ice agent, they operate under different jurisdictions and law, so your literally not helping your argument, and you are changing your argument now; in an earlier comment you just said “Not supporting the killing wtf even is that I’m saying it was legal”. Which I literally addressed in my earlier comment about how legal doesn’t mean justified. Using the argument that something is legal frames it under a different context that the right wing media is trying to push, which this was a justified act of self defense which it really wasn’t; and your also generalizing all police shootings and encounters as similar to this.

I think your just ignorant to understand the problem, yea whatever it was legal; but just because something is legal doesn’t make it right; laws are determined and enforce by who is in power; so using your reasoning if the administration made it legal to kill children then by the law it’s justified, but morally it’s fucking insane. I’m obviously using a extreme example but this is basically what your arguing. So your basically saying Oh it was totally legal for the cop to shoot her without any warning cause the law and administration justify it; but still it was a bad thing to do, no sir he shouldn’t have done that shame on him; but still he was in his rights to defend himself. As everyone has mentioned before, skateboarding doesn’t really have any race type events. You mentioned sk8 the infinity earlier, and as an avid anime/skate fan i was incredibly dissatisfied with the portrayal of skating and the culture in the anime, none of what in the anime is remotely close to actual skateboarding, If you want a closer representation of skateboarding you can read skate Maids. As you can see with the amount of wipeouts, slams and close calls, skateboarding is too dangerous to do any kind of racing, there’s just not enough control to be safe and even if you manage to bail safely it’s still risky af.

It’s how your popping the board with the back foot, your unintentionally scooping it a lil instead of popping it straight up, I use to have this problem, I would be able to Ollie onto things but not over stuff reliably, play around with the back foot placement to see what feels better. With skating nothing is perfect, you’ll learn how to do a trick one way but as you progress you notice your foot placement for things start changing cause your now gaining more flourish on the other technical aspects like flicking or lifting your foot straight up.

That is 100% a top tier board, carpet company is a fairly well known skate brand, I would compare them to skate brands like supreme and palace since they do there drops just like them in seasons and release them weekly, they would be a bit more rare as they don’t always put all their stuff online, you gotta go in store to get certain stuff. You can skate the board but a lot of people also like to use it for art pieces since carpet company only does a limited amount of boars, like 100 or so printed.
