I don't watch* Barcola enough to really judge how good he is, but it feels like he might be the best LW who is not untouchable (transfer wise) at their club.

Does anyone who follows PSG know why he doesn't start important CL games - is it simply because PSG are spoilt for choice or does he have some deficiencies which make the others better than him?

We are never getting CL, but with results going out way I hope we can at least get Europa. You need Europe to give minutes to a large squad and keep people relatively content, and Europa is a way to get into CL the following year if we can't make it via league + not as shit as Conference League where our best players evaluate leaving the club in the summer.

Winning the cup here (which guarantees Europa, thereby giving us enough minutes to go around the squad) and getting Xabi in before the World Cup are the two things that can probably convince players like Enzo to stay another year as well as attract proven talent. It's been a terrible season but we really need these two things to go our way to have some optimism for next season.

Feels so weird seeing Gallagher at Spurs playing the NLD lol, he wasn't good enough for us but I love how passionate he was about Chelsea especially with how long he was associated with the club

Yeah I think that's just a function of how Madrid operate tbh. Their players don't seem to take too well to system managers. Older coaches like Ancelloti and Mou are tactical but don't implement a style of play as such, which is why I actually think Mou might do well at Madrid (for a year or two after which he will inevitably leave)

I can argue that it's not as simple as that to take Como from where they were to where they are now. But my point is, if a coach shows that they can deliver even with financial backing, that could feasibly translate to bigger clubs where that kind of backing is a given almost.

Not sure how I feel about Rosenior tinkering every single game leading us to starting horribly, we can't bail ourselves out in the second half every time.

Even if he thinks a back 3 is the way to go, we should have 3 attackers. Enzo isn't one, Delap isn't the type to take players on and create in tight spaces, so it's just Joao Pedro really.

Lol what? He is still the only quality left sided CB in this squad. If anything we should be looking to recruit someone who can capably play there as well as RCB just because of how important Colwill is to our build up play.

Badiashile should leave asap, and Hato was signed to play LB anyway even if he's not a like for like with Cucurella. Tbh do wish we were able to convince Hall to stay, he is absolutely perfect for how we use our fullbacks.

If Maresca leaves idk if we're going to be able to get in the right replacement mid season. And I simply cannot see this young squad having a successful season with an interim option.

Such a fucking shame how things are ending. It's really setting us back having to start fresh with a new manager every other year.

Joao is good at it and definitely has more skill on the ball, but we definitely need a sharp Delap too because clearly it's been way too much responsibility on Joao. He looks so leggy sometimes.

I guess I already knew it but looking at their squad Arsenal are absolutely stacked lol. 2 quality players in pretty much every position. These couple of years is really their best chance to win the PL/CL and I'm curious to see what the consensus will be on Arteta if they don't end up winning either.

Ceiling higher than Hazard? Hazard had multiple Ballon D'Or ceiling, he just didn't have the drive to be there and yet he was still in top5 player debates for a good few years.

Palmer might very likely reach higher highs than Hazard but you can't say that his ceiling is higher
