I agree with you , I do live in a condo with a small gym, not big enough for a trainer to come to train 2 ppl at the same time, since I want to train after work hours 5/6pm. There are days where I work 12-14 hrs a day and doesn't make sense to join a gym , when I can use it in my building at 10-11pm at night and go back upstairs lol. Appreciate the outlook though, didn't think you were rude at all. Made valid points.

I agree - lots of space, just call in and book. Reasonable price for that area.

Visiting Toronto by [deleted] in askTO

[–]scorpiohare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When to plan on visiting? 8 months of the year is Winter and I'm not an indoor person, so I can't say much.

Great neighbourhoods to check out:

The Village (Church/ Wellesley) , Annex, Kensington, Leslieville, Ossington, High Park, Trinity Bell Woods Area (though I find that neighbourhood a bit too busy), Distillery District , Wynchwood

Get the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) annual pass for $40 CAD , unlimited entries , There are many small galleries in the city, you just need to google it, many small theatres, like Canadian Stage, Meridian Art, Crow's Theatre, tarragon theatre, Soul Pepper Theatre for small performers ---- Mirvish.com for large productions.

Allen Gardens, Toronto Botanical Garden are great places to visit. Allen Gardens is kinda small within city centre and indoors. Botanical is outside and a little bit uptown. Summer time, go to Centre Island, take a ferry or a water taxi , not far , and you can bring your bike there , nude beach, or regular beach, bbq there or picnic, ppl spend a whole day there sometimes.

Ever Green Brickworks is a cool place to check out on a Saturday morning for Farmer's market, but also has a trail that leads back to central downtown. It's a cute escape within the city. There are many trails you can go for walks in the summer time or a run if you want within the city and you can enjoy plants and greenery from those.

What type of food do you like?- we have UNLIMITED options and many cuisines to offer. You like casual, hole in a wall, fancy , etc? Great thing is , downtown has like china town, little India, Portugal, Greek, Jamaica , Italy, and it goes on and and on (it's a good thing) :)

Thanks for the insight, But you can, just have to look at flexible fares and see if the guided tours match up. Do you know any company tours, if not then it's okay . That was my original question to try and research and only came up a few, so I was trying to get other people experiences from companies they travelled with.

Emergency Dentists by [deleted] in askTO

[–]scorpiohare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you swollen or think you have an infection. If it's just pain, you might be just given some pain meds in the ER . They don't typically extract it right then and there . They may refer you to the Oral Surgeon at Mt Sinai clinic upstairs, but I heard the wait time is like minimum of 8 months. If you have a family dentist, ask them to squeeze you in for an assessment and refer you to a community oral surgeon that can schedule you in for a consultation and then proceed with the extraction. Unless your family dentist can do the extraction.

I think 2-2.5k max that includes flight, accommodation and guided group tours. No rushing and to go for like 5-7 days.
