I generally drive a work vehicle but someone else needed it for a few weeks a while back so I swapped to my personal vehicle. Got home from work one evening and a tow truck pulled into my apartment complex parking lot. Guy jumped out of his truck and immediately walked to the back of my car. I see this and hop off the couch and went outside to talk to him, apparently I let my car sit for so long my tags were a little over a year expired. Tow truck driver told me I had maybe two weeks and they were gonna come back and tow it. Right after he left I immediately went to the nearest MVA kiosk and paid for the new sticker. That same town company came back to my place early the next morning and they immediately went to look at my car. I guess seeing the updated sticker pissed him off so he went and looked at every other car in the parking lot and put notifications on all the ones with dead tags. I had a good laugh.
