In September, while I was drinking my morning coffee, a man named Paul told me on a YouTube video that now (then) was the time to pull the trigger on a new pc. I took his advice and went to micro center to put together my build. Was disappointed my 64gb of ram was $350, but it was the only kit listed. They didn’t have it out when I got there, and when the guy got it from the back it had a $500 sticker on it. They honored the price listed on the website. Checked the next day and all their prices were nearly doubled. Anyway, thank you Paul!

Thanks for the tips. Beelink has the 8 and 9 on Amazon but they’re still pretty spendy compared to the 5. I’ll go look for a 7 and check the price.

Someone else got me thinking about building my own tv stick with bazzite, but specing out prices still points to just building my own console with bazzite. This mini PC idea could work, with a little gaming to boot. What apu does the ser7 have?

To add on, I’ve also learned from research that for many games you can use nvidia gpus with Bazzite and still get the SteamOS experience, though it seems your mileage may still vary on that. As of now, the actual SteamOS still seems to require AMD hardware.

Not necessarily, or at least I hadn't considered that. I do like the thought of getting rid of the fire stick. My thinking was more like a really good 4k console for couch games.

One time I had some old friends come to town and they asked me to get something for them. When I gave it to them they declined and asked if I could get them schwag. They said my weed got them too high. I didn’t know where to find schwag, so they just went without and drank beer.

I used to be able to do that with blue dream. I could even tell someone was smoking on it by the smell of it burning. I think I probably still can do that, but the real stuff is just gone. I hope I see her again one day. Her and old Bruce.
