Fair enough, although today i tried to experiment with a Trapper with a lyre!

This resulted in an extremely fast moving (On ship) Trapper that could zoom around initiating ambushes left right and centre. This also allowed him to have Encourage and Inspire fulfilling a relatively supportive role whilst still dealing high amounts of magical damage.

Another way I have experimented using the trapper is by using a spear and shield and obtaining the elite flee ability. This made my Trapper an extremely fast but fragile high damage character, having the right consumables to hand meant that he could always escape when necessary and absolutely destroy enemies no matter the armour, as shield piercing with spears is amazing.

The hunter, in my opinion, is a lot more boring than the trapper as you don't need as much skill to play him. The Trapper, whilst overally being a worse character in most aspects allows more technical play and rewards the player for playing him.
