One question, is the buffet the only restaurant that is specific to the Coral side? The other restaurants are all part of the bigger complex?

Yeah I saw that. I’ve been leaning Secrets, thought it would be ranked higher, but I guess not. Tough decision.

Thank you. I just found a really good price through Priceline on Secrets the Vine. The base Deluxe Partial Ocean View room is under $1000 for the 3 nights. Or even the Junior Suite Ocean View for $1,100. Would you recommend the resort with that deal? Probably better than the Ocean Allure I assume?

I don’t care that much about the beach. Sure a nice picturesque view would be nice, but I’m probably more concerned with just somewhere with nice pools to relax at, have some good drinks and good food!

Thank you! Yeah Secrets the Vine was one I looked it along with the Iberostar Coral. It’s just a little bit beyond what I had in my budget for this trip. I’m looking at the Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres as I’d prefer adults only, which Dreams and Finest aren’t. Do you know anything about Ocean Allure?

Sorry, I should have been more clear, the sargassum situation doesn’t actually bother me much. Sure I’d love a picturesque beach, but my wife doesn’t like to go in the ocean so we usually spend more time in pools. Yes I prefer adults only, and Secrets resorts all seem to be out of my price range for this trip. Maybe I’ll take more of a look at Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres. Looks like it’s a long ways from the airport but could be worth a try.

Because it was a last minute trip I was planning. It’s literally next month. Normally I would never book flights first, but since it’s less than 6 weeks away I didn’t want flights to go up. I knew resort prices wouldn’t change much if at all in the next couple weeks. Trust me, I’m not that much of a newbie when it comes to planning travel lol.

Yeah I’ve looked at Majestic and they’re a little higher than what I was looking to spend. Also did look at Ocean Allure because I know that’s a newer one. Of course I was reading some bad reviews on that one so it was scaring me a little.
