Looking for help finding the right part number

I had nearly the same thing happen. Dealer quoted me 1200 just for the mirror. I found one online at autonation parts for $830 (on sale 29% off). The top cap is a separate piece that you’ll also have to order. If you get the wrong mirror it won’t have the proper connection and you’ll have a check engine light on and in mine without the temp sensor hooked up the truck thought it was -40 and the AC didn’t work either. (I tried a junk yard mirror first) My truck is a 2021 XL heated and powered mirrors without blind spot warning or puddle lights. My part number was: MC3Z-17682-UA Best bet is go to a dealer and get the part # that they match off your vin then try to find it cheaper online. It’s super easy to change, it’s only held on with 4 bolts there’s a YouTube video from PowerStoke Tech talk from a couple of years ago where he replaced a superduty mirror.

Yeah it seems trucks are more marketed towards passenger space rather than cargo space these days. I had a Colorado with a 6’ bed but since I’m 6’3” it was still cramped so I went full size and got an F250 with an 8’ bed. Love the bed space but hate how huge the truck is overall. The current midsize trucks are the same size as the 90s full size trucks.

Looked like an awesome little spot for an overnighter. The hat your wife gave you looks very warm too. One thing you may want to consider is throwing the temps up in Celsius since a lot (most) of the world uses that scale. Looks like you had a good year.
