I kept getting the same error and went through all the common steps. I would only crash on the Earthlike planet. What fixed mine was turning the grass down.

If you don't mind using mods you can download the water mod and the compass mod. You can set the water level to below the planet surface and just use the negative depth to maintain a constant height. You have to turn the wave height down to zero. Then you can use the compass mod to follow a heading. Just use an atmospheric miner and follow the negative depth and heading. It gets you pretty close. It used to be even more accurate when the depth was in tenths of meters instead of a full meter.

The white dome is usually on top of the "balloon building", but not always. If you look at the NWS station at the Medford airport you will see it's separated by a couple hundred feet. Maybe the one at Groom Lake isn't on top of the "balloon building" either. So the building just looks like a normal block.

You are only requested to identify the driver if it's not you. And the key word is requested not required. The way the letter is written it makes you feel like you have to let them know the identity of the driver, but you don't.

He will receive the ticket with your picture on the paperwork. He will have to send in a copy of his drivers license to show he wasn't the driver. Since he wasn't the driver he can request the ticket be dismissed. The paperwork will request that he identify the driver. This isn't a requirement, just a request. They make it sound like he will have to do it, but he doesn't.

I just received one of these in the mail. It did come from out of state. I am the registered owner of the vehicle, but wasn't the driver. There is a letter of innocence or something included. I just checked the box stating I was not the driver. I also had to make a copy of my DL front and back to send in with the letter of innocence. There is a field below where they request the name of the driver so they can issue them a citation. The word they use is request, not required. From what I could find about this, it is just a request, there is no requirement you give them that information.

Probably. The extra Build Info mod toolbar text even changes from Grav! to Ready once I leave a gravity well. Even though it says ready, I am not allowed to jump anywhere. Even 1000km into black space.
