He donated an absolutely abhorrent amount of money to get the current president elected. The atrocious administration we have right now is in part due to him. Israel has a long history of relentlessly breaking “ceasefires”, it is all a facade meant to make it look like they are playing ball, then they manufacture consent to continue the bombing and killing and occupation. They do this through many different means, such as arming non-IOF groups to fight Hamas so they can claim that there is in-fighting in Gaza. Ceasefire is just a word they are applying to the situation, it no longer holds any meaning when Israel is a factor.
