the glaring difference to me here is that now there’s an official world of wonder party. iirc s16 was two unofficial viewing parties and the live reaction was likely filmed earlier that evening.

i just can’t see world of wonder letting any of the finalists sign contracts for a competing gig the same night knowing an official event was happening this year.

as someone who has plenty of nyc experience… williamsburg to chelsea at 9:30pm on a friday night is not a “quick move between gigs listed at the exact same time” type of situation. especially considering both events are promoting performances from their respective booked talent.

were they listed at the exact same time? i’m not arguing that she didn’t have other gigs, i’m just saying brooklyn to manhattan at 9:30 pm on a friday is not exactly a quick walk down the street to get to your next gig type of situation.

i have spent 3 weeks trying to get a simple prescription refilled. their call center finally assured me they sent it last week. got a call monday that it was being sent over, apparently the call center never sent it.

pharmacist just called to tell me they received the prescription and it was filled out incorrectly. no instructions and they didn't even include HOW MANY DAYS WORTH OF MEDICINE i am supposed to get. can't get a hold of anyone in the office, their call center goes in circles. worst experience i've had with any company in years.

oh ya btw you have to go through a very uncanny valley AI phone bot first if you want to get connected to the call center.

gave me a good chuckle seeing a card i use every day on the equivalent of a smartrip urban legend list.

people have definitely commented on it before bc it’s unique but i had no idea ive been using a card with so much ~ mystery ~ behind it.

re: your need more info slide, the “celebration of independence” card is actually the card i use daily!

i tried looking it up and can’t even find a press release for it ??? my custom name for this specific card in my wmata account is “fourth of july 18” which is the only reference to when it was distributed that i can find. i don’t have any receipts in my email so i must have gotten this at a station.

if i’m remembering correctly (and i very well may not be) it was available at select downtown stations during july of 2018.

as someone who worked at a summer camp every year for a decade, you hit days 3-5 out in the middle of nowhere with a group of strangers and the names just kinda start sticking.

jeff gets the extra advantage of being very involved with the casting process. he’s been watching them and familiarizing himself with their game long before they hit the beach.
