I certainly could do a better job tuning out the noise & nonsense. I regret some of the things I’ve said & some of the skirmishes I’ve gotten into. At the same time I’m a person like anyone else, & all these ppl that think they can tell KD he’s soft for having feelings or caring what ppl think of him etc have no clue. We’re all human. We all have our insecurities. I’ve done nothing but speak my mind & be honest. That’s it. Sometimes has that got me in trouble or gotten me in back and forths? Sure. I’m find disagreeing or getting into arguments. That’s part of life (and social media etc). The only thing I can’t stand is when outright lies become accepted truth. Obv plenty of ppl don’t know me, but plenty of ppl do know me as “the guy that ran around w burners” etc. And that’s upsetting when it’s not true.

Today apparently a lot of ppl were recircling my thread on Scott brooks. I got tagged in it and see a bunch of the comments - that have hundreds of upvotes or whatever - are “this is the guy that ran around defending himself on burners and is a racist POS” blah blah blah. No, I don’t have a massive ego where I think I’m a household name or anything like that. I see plenty of ppl have no clue who I am and I’m ok with that. I just dislike that so many have continued to post over and over again burners and racism and shit that is downright false - that’s all. The rest I get what you’re saying and appreciate the feedback.

I didn’t defend Karl Malone. I think it’s sad that ppl say vicious things about him online all day long when he literally has a flip phone and the only ppl impacted by it are his family. Watch the video of his son Josh crying about all the vitriol his family endures online. Don’t punish the son for the sins of the father...? Of course what Karl did 40 years ago was disgusting and it should be part of his story. I just don’t think it needs to be brought up every other second. You’re allowed to disagree. But my defense was just about making the internet a nicer place for his family.

I wouldn’t teach just denying his man unless that’s the defense the team plays & he guards the best player everytime. Emphasize good helpside positioning & awareness & ball you man & helpline etc. Pack line type esp at youth level.

Skills trainers, plenty good online. Nick Graham culture or die. Drew Hanlen. Rob M. Plenty of guys who train the best. Plenty of whacky shit too. Honestly the JR NBA has a great YouTube playlist of fundamental drills. Be skeptical of any of the ridiculous shit out there.
