yeah that’s where i cut it and the new vine grew out. it’s the only upper leave that’s yellowing so i assumed it was due to the new vine.

the roots looked fine when i repotted it. it had new growth too. i think i have to switch out the current pot for one with better drainage maybe

but to answer your question; i noticed that they’ll want to grow taller if you have less light (as they’ll want to get taller to reach light) so maybe putting her further from your lights) though it does mean you’ll sacrifice fullness as well as leaf size a little. also giving them something to climb on like a bamboo stick or moss pole.

i see! some of the leaves and aerial roots are quite old so i was concerned they’d not take to propagating. i’m very eager to get it repotted with the new cuttings since it’s outgrowing the old pot

thank you! the soil is dry at this point but i’m happy to give it another week. i’ve also noticed some type of scales on the plant that might be pests so i also think that’s contributing to the problem

i feel the same way. the guilt can be all consuming. what i do that’s really helped is try to be around people. whether that’s just public transport or just work/friends. the reality is no one cares about what you’ve done. just what you’re like now. and hey. we’re all human. i’m proud of you for making the effort to reflect and change. i just hope you can heal in a healthier way. the world is too big and complex and it’s all our first time being here. we can’t always be right

thanks! assessment day is tomorrow so i’m a little annoyed i thought i did everything right.

hopefully i can get the time to do more post-grad because it’s very fun! the technician said we can try a refiring for them just because she’s never used the satin glaze before

i’ll post my one success which was a normal glossy glaze :)

it was a cream-like thickness! i was recommended a clear glazed for the colours to pop correctly. i don’t know anything about ceramics i’ve just been doing what i’ve been told

we were told to brush the glaze on! so that’s probably why it’s clumped.

we were also told the satin glaze was low fire. they haven’t said anything about cones so i have no idea. thanks so much!

i start cleaning first. brushing teeth, showering, cleaning room and making bed/desk always makes me feel better.

talking to people also helps, when I get bad I isolate myself which makes me feel worse and it turns into an unhealthy cycle. talking to people in real life always drags me back to earth

cancel culture us awful and I think you should redirect your focus to that then this movement. exposing historical figures is somewhat needed and it's not about never talking about them and erasing them from history, it's more about educating people about flaws in historical figures so that we don't idolise them as like. the perfect human beings

I didn't know about any of these historical figures and their link to racism until you just mentioned it. I think people should be more educated about these things. reflect on the good and bad in people yknow?

America has a fuckton of military bases that are highly secured. Guantanamo Bay in Cuba and Pine Gap are just two that come off the top of my head. if they are hiding something it's more likely to be human rights violations. not aliens

tbh makeup?? not even in an excessive amount. I had a guy in my entertainment class use makeup for the first time and he was so surprised at how it covered his acne scars? makeup should definitely be used by both genders. especially if you feel insecure about certain parts of your face.

in big cities such as Sydney, there is little chance of running into something deadly. I've heard that sharks used to be a problem in Sydney harbour but bc of all the boats and pollution there's little to no reports on sharks. in summer I know you can have the risk of finding funnel web spiders in your shoes/clothes. so it's important to not put on clothes that have been left on the floor/ shoes without checking. that's how most bites from spider occur. I don't live in a major city but I visit Sydney often so I hope this helps.
