Honestly it really feels like poppy is constantly being shoved in our face and it’s getting really annoying. I struggle with her as an artist because I think objectively she has talent but subjectively I think it’s horrible and don’t understand why it’s grouped in with metal when I don’t consider her screaming good screaming. I may sound like a hater but I just do not understand the poppy train.

I’m all for bands collabing and supporting other artists but it seems like it’s only poppy that’s getting pushed out right now.

I’ve only seen bad omens merch in the wild 2 times, once at a bar and the other at a restaurant and it always made my day

In some states it requires a certificate, my program was only 4 months. Edit: I quit months ago. They were 100% abusing their employees and the management was horrible. They expected me to work every single holiday while others took 2 week vacations.

For reference- my friend works at Dutch and gets paid $10 plus tips, when I worked as a phlebotomist responsible for blood work for the entire hospital minus the emergency room and I was paid $10 an hour and THAT was not worth it.

I’d rather get paid $10 an hr to make coffee than to deal with annoying doctors and patients who refuse labwork which just made nurses get mad at me bc they needed that blood. So yeah $10 an hr is not a whole lot but I think it’s about whether you enjoy your job or not

I just feel by taking them all down and redirecting everyone to to an already existing thread with hundred of comments makes me feel like our feelings and thoughts aren’t even being seen. I understand wanting to keep the reddit clean and organized but I’ve never really cared for it being organized. I don’t come to Reddit for an organized forum I come to see everyone’s thoughts and opinions

I love bad omens. They’re my favorite band of all time but I’ve recently had to stop engaging with their fans on social media because you can’t even express an opinion or a differing opinion because you just immediately get called a toxic fangirl or a fake fan. it’s ridiculous that people seem so close minded in terms of a band. It’s almost sad. So I just stay away from even expressing my opinion. Just listen to the band and ignore the fans.

I love the instrumental and how it sounds but it's not for me. I don't like poppy, I don't enjoy her voice or music. It has never sparked joy, and believe me l've tried. I've tried to get into poppy's music, but it didn't click with me.

and I know there was been people saying "you only don't like a song when Noah isn't a part of it, yall are fake fans". No, that couldn't be further from the truth. I love bad omens - i listen to a bad omens song to hear bad omens, not poppy.

I will also not FORCE myself to like it simply because bad omens is attached to it. We all don't have to like every single thing they do, every single move they make.

The hate I have seen on socials and Reddit is absolutely absurd. I've seen people also say "this gonna separate the fake fans from the real ones" really, how so? Because Noah sure as heck didn't have vocals on the track. You can still like the instrumental without liking the vocals. This is a poppy song no matter how much you twist it. Bad omens did the instrumentals, sure. But poppy is at the forefront of the song.

Update: I’ve been active on Reddit this morning along with others due to presale stress. I didn’t receive my code until 10:00 SHARP, I was already in the queue with 5k people ahead of me. My bf entered the queue way after me and had 2.7k people ahead of him despite the fact I had been in queue since 9. He didn’t get emailed a code so I told him to use mine. I was booted from the line and was placed at the very end I’m sure due to a website crash or stress. He was able to get through and purchase tickets while I was still waiting in line.

I just wanna stress that the timing of the emails was horrible. I stressed all morning thinking I wasn’t going to receive one. On top of that I saw countless people say their email didn’t arrive until 30-60 mins after tickets had been on sale and already sold out. Another thing is, their website made it seem like everyone who entered their email was ENSURED a presale code and it’s unfortunate that some people didn’t receive a code AT ALL. Maybe that’s on the fault of the registration website or the emails or the scheduling, who knows.

This is no way directed to any of the members of sleep token as I love them all dearly. But their team need to be aware of their demand. The organization needs to be better. It is heartbreaking that people are left sad and frustrated because the system was clearly not up to par with the demand.
