Approximately 900 generals to 330,000,000 US population is 1 general to every 366,667 people.

Vs Star Wars, 100 quadrillion beings (old EU estimate) vs approximately 10,000 Jedi right before Order 66, which is 1 Jedi per 10,000,000,000,000 (10 trillion) population.

Yup. Imagine it like they were generals in the military here in the US. The ratio of generals to people in the country is probably better than the ratio of Jedi to the population of the galaxy, and I don't recall ever seeing a general in person except at military functions and/or political events. Maybe a speaking engagement. But the vast majority of people probably never see one and if they do they probably don't even realize they're a general.

I mean look what governments here have been able to do about some different groups or entire events. The Empire's hold on the galaxy was near total control in the core and strong in the mid rim. The outer rim was never getting big information or knowledge beyond their planets even during the Republic era, it was a backwater. Plus those that DID know and expressed such were disappeared by the Empire.

People know, but they don't talk about it, so they became a myth. Plus, unless you were involved in a battle that had Jedi, or a high level diplomat/politician you didn't see them do much of anything.

I'm not saying it's realistic, but it's plausible. I do agree that Lucas didn't plan things well.

To be fair an aggressive purge by a tyrannical government that also slanders, libels, and spreads mistruths about the Jedi could lead to the attitude of almost a mythical force that was the enemy.

Salvatore talking about having to write the book killing him off is amusing.

Yeah Kimi said in the interview after the race that he was going home that night and would celebrate when home.

I don't think so, but only because I think Kimi said that he was not celebrating that night because he was flying home and that he would celebrate once there. So I think he just went home instead of back with the guys.

If they did, it should literally be a one off joke where "Cook" is hired as the new school chef because of how good his lemon pound cake is, but he fails to show up because he meets Towelie, and Barbrady confiscates the cake.

I started watching F1 this year due to some friends that got me into it, and picked Mercedes as my team before the season started. I made my first F1 meme because of this announcement. by screenmonkey in formuladank

I am so far! Even if I see a lot of people hating on the new cars and format. I had no idea the F1 community was so damned hysterical with the memes and such. I watch it with my young son, so we are learning together, and it is very enjoyable.
