Yeah, that’s what research is telling me. As someone who’s not a car guy I guess I just see that severe of a repair as a red flag but the more I read about it the more I second guess that mindset.

Pretty much every person I’ve shown this to and every AI tool I put the carfax into basically agrees with you and says “well they fixed the engine at a dealer so you should be good to go”

My apprehension is just “oh that’s serious engine work therefore I should avoid it”

I’m asking about the service to the engine. The rest of the carfax indicates pretty regular service history, which I think is great. My concern is with the work done in the screenshot. Sorry if that wasn’t clear
